“On October 17th, 2025, I hit my head on the bottom of a dryer door. Two hours later I was on the ground having a seizure.”
TRAUMATICA — The Story
The four months that followed — hallucinations, PTSD nightmares, vertigo, physical therapy three times a week — nearly broke me. Four months without working or earning income. The question of whether I'd ever be the same person again was real and daily.
TRAUMATICA is the 10-track concept album that came out of it. Recorded during the recovery itself. Every word true. Nothing softened.

Domino Turns Trauma into Art on TRAUMATICA
Underground Hip Hop Blog · July 31, 2026
8.5
out of 10
“A raw, deeply personal concept album that turns trauma into transcendent art.”
“TRAUMATICA stands as his most cohesive work to date — a raw, unflinching look at what it means to heal when everything you've built goes completely still, and somehow find your way back to yourself.”
“One of the most honest hip-hop releases of the year. For anyone who has ever had to rebuild themselves from the ground up, TRAUMATICA is required listening.”
Short Bio
DOMINO is an independent hip-hop artist, poet, and director — 15 years in the game, $100K in single-day digital sales, independent tours across the world, and a Rolling Stone collaboration, all with zero label deals. His debut concept album, TRAUMATICA, is out now.
Full Bio
DOMINO has been building quietly for 15 years and building loudly for moments that count. An independent hip-hop artist, poet, and director based in Portland, OR, he's proven the model works without a label: $100K in single-day digital sales, sold-out shows, global touring, and collaborations with Rolling Stone and Timberland — all on his own terms.
His current campaign is The Legacy Era — a 2-year creative arc with 4 album drops, starting with TRAUMATICA. Each album takes a distinct angle: concept, chaos, spoken word, and something larger. No label. No middleman. No filter.
TRAUMATICA (Album 01) is a 10-track concept album about recovering from a traumatic brain injury — released via a weekly waterfall format, one song every Tuesday starting May 26, 2026. It is accompanied by the WHY I... video series documenting the creative process in real time.
DOMINO doesn't chase trends. He builds legacies — and The Legacy Era is the proof.
